The Public Service Division (PSD) runs the Civil Service Internship Programme (CSIP) annually. CSIP provides Singaporean undergraduates with a first-hand feel of what working in the Civil Service is like. Offered twice a year, the CSIP will give you an insight into the challenges of a civil service career. We hope such experiences will give you more reasons to consider joining the Civil Service after graduation
We have a wide array of challenging and dynamic projects to choose from. With hands-on experience in these projects, you will get a better understanding of the public service values that drive public policy.
CSIP interns will have the opportunity to visit 2 to 3 public sector agencies during their internship. These learning journeys allow interns to gain invaluable exposure to the workings of the Civil Service.
Midway through the CSIP, you will be invited to a dialogue session to share your suggestions and feedback on the programme. At the CSIP closing ceremony, you will each be assigned a group to share your group’s learning experiences. With various activities lined up throughout the programme, CSIP also provides you a great networking opportunity.
